The horn band August poured on the heat on Saturday night to an electrified crowd at the Chicago Intercontinental Hotel in Rosemont. Their distinctive Chicago sound could be heard throughout the evening as they performed nearly 20 hit songs, including the band’s pounding rendition of Long Train Running, featuring lead singer, Ron Porter.
